On March 12th 2013, the legendary “Ziggy Stardust” singer is set to release a new album, titled The Next Day. The video for the first single, Where Are We Now?, has been released and appears to be somewhat of a lament toward his highly creative days dwelling in Berlin, Germany in the late 1970s. Indeed it seems nostalgia makes up a key component of the album, especially after viewing the video and glancing at the weird album cover. The album is not so much nostalgia-filled as it is laden with eclectically-styled tracks, according to music producer Tony Visconti. Replete with ballads, rockers, and Motown style jams hearkening back to his Young Americans and Scary Monsters days, the new Bowie album promises to be anything but conventional.
